Q - How should the belt fit me?
A - The Fanny Pack and Flats Fisherman's vests
are made to be adjusted in order to go over
layers of clothing. There is enough extra webbing behind the buckle to adjust the
belt to accommodate heavy waders and extra clothing in
cold weather. If the vest is adjusted properly, it should not slide down
over the hips and should slide up and stay under the armpits when wading
deeply.
Q – Do I have to buy all of the accessories?
A – The accessories do not have to be purchased as
part of the belt vest. The belt vest was designed to take advantage of
the best features of the accessories offered. For examples, the coil
retractor attached to the line clipper pins to a webbing reinforced
place on the large fly box pocket. The round retractor reel for the
forceps has a long plastic coated line and is not available in many fly
stores. The 4 ½” Dr.Slick™ forceps are short and stay out of the way. You may use all your own
accessories but these are offered at less than retail prices!
Q – Can I get other colors or styles?
A – Custom belt vests can be made to suit your
needs. Examples include vests in other colors and left handed models.
Q – Why are these vests made in Montana?
A – The belt vest is made in Montana by hard
working, tax paying citizens instead of in a sweat shop in Indonesia or
Mexico. The quality of materials and workmanship is easier to control
here at home. The product does end up costing more than something bought
at a discount store!
